Larry Estes is President of Welb Film Pursuits, Ltd., an
independent production and consulting company, and is
currently producing for Outrider Pictures .

His recent producing credits include Smoke Signals,
The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human, Book of Stars,
Out There and Coldblooded.

Until November 1993, Estes was Senior Vice-president of
Feature Film Acquisitions at Columbia TriStar Home Video
(formerly RCA/Columbia Pictures Home Video) since
June 1984. Highlights of the sixty feature films which
he made during this time include: sex, lies, and videotape,
starring James Spader and Andie Macdowell, written and
directed by Steven Soderbergh; City of Hope, written
and directed by John Sayles; The Waterdance, starring
Eric Stolz, Helen Hunt, and Wesley Snipes, directed by
Neal Jimenez and Michael Steinberg, produced by
Gale Anne Hurd; One False Move directed by Carl Franklin;
Gas, Food, Lodging, written and directed by Allison Anders;
Zebrahead, written and directed by Anthony Drazan;
Mac, written and directed by John Turturro;
and the Oscar-nominated Passion Fish,
written and directed by John Sayles, starring
Mary McDonnell and Alfre Woodard.
